I enjoy making the mess, but I just don't enjoy cleaning it up...........and for two people we manage to make a mess .... and we have too much stuff for two people too and we both have a hard time parting with things because they all have some sort of memory attached to them. What to do?

Bring someone in to help you that isn't sentimentally attached to any of your junk. I always cleaned things out best when my Mom was helping. She'd say "Kelsey, what on earth do you need 800 old Archie Comics for?" So we'd donate them.
